We're absolute converts when it comes to USWEs unique suspension system. The range of packs we use include a 3ltr enduro pack that can 'just' about squeeze a coat and tube in; the 15ltr Airborne that's your perfect companion for big days out; and the 26ltr Explorer that's aimed for guiding and multi-day adventures.
The fit at first seems a little odd, not having a waist belt, but you soon realise how stable they are, and the benefit of not having a tight waist band that just seems to restrict and get in the way. Just one click, and it's on!!
