About the event
An enduro style weekend riding over roots, rocks and drops in two of mid Wales’ largest forests, Dyfi and Hafren.
We’ll climb the fire road network at a leisurely and social pace, then turn downhill to enjoy the thrills and spills of the off piste technical trails both forests offer in abundance.
Dyfi Forest needs no introduction with its well established ClimachX Trail offering one of the longest descents in Wales. However just a pedal stroke away from the man made trail is a vast network of off piste singletracks that have been used in many Dyfi enduros and winter warm ups over the past two decades and beyond.
Hafren Forest is very unknown to many riders, even to those from the local area. For those who pass through on the Trans Cambrian Way, there is a short taste of what the forest has to offer the seasoned trail rider.
A series of technical descents flank the River Severn throughout the forest, making it a complex network of trails to piece together in the right order. Luckily for us, it’s literally our back yard and playground!!
NOTE: Before booking your space, please consider your personal riding ability. You should be a competent red trail rider, able to ride sections of black trails. Both forests are steep and loose, and not manicured like a trail centre with cleared fall zones.
